Diets: Carb is NOT a Matter

When on diets, carb are always blamed for all the fats that are piling inside the body. You would often hear people complaining about it and accusing it for the bad figure and the unsound weight. Come on! All these finger-pointing is definitely NOT true because in reality, you need carbs in fat burning.

Do not go back and read again what I just wrote, you read it right the first time. Carbs are NOT your enemy; they are actually your ally in the quest for a fitter body. Not all of them, however, because they are not created equal. There are bad carb and there are also the good ones. The good carb are those that help in the fat burning activity of the body.

So, which foods belong to either group? Here is a short list:

Bad:
Whole wheat bread (as well as other breads)
Most pasta
Almost all cereals
Whole grain crackers

Good:
Rice
Spelt
Millet
Quinoa
Sprouted grain
Sweet potato
All fruits and vegetables

Now, confusion is detected there. Whole wheat breads are healthy right? Wrong. Whole wheat bread produces a spike in blood sugar, which is not good because it prompts the body to produce insulin and in defense to starvation brought by such an activity, the body will hold on to fats. Thus, they are retained and not burnt. Other foods that help burn fats are good fiber, vitamins, minerals and nutrients found in all fruits and vegetables.

There are indeed a lot of misconceptions when it comes to diets. Carb often gets the blame and since it cannot defend itself, the idea prevailed for so long. Now that you have an idea about what it can do for the body, perhaps you should conduct a more thorough research to find out the truth and free yourself from the death sentence most diet programs have bestowed upon you.

Day by Day Diets: The Way to Do It

When in a diet program, among the typical results that you will be presented are:
1.      That you will lose at least 1kg in a week
2.      A continuous weight loss then after

Those are really common. What is NOT common is a diet program that allows you to eat all three full meals plus snacks in a hefty amount.

Many diets would really hinder you from eating regularly, some would ask you to count the calories for chicken and other foods before having them and others would ask you to give up your favorite foods, which for many could seem like their life being taken away.

Day by day diets should not be like that; if you know what you should be doing.  That is, you should learn to identify which foods are good and which are bad for you. Once you have recognized them, you will see that you actually have a lot of choices of the dishes to create that would match your diet.

Knowledge is very important when trying to design day by day diets. When you lack it, you will be misled and be blinded by those people who do not really want to give solutions. So, what are the things that you should know?

First, that sugar is your number one enemy and that many of those you thought are healthy foods can actually develop to sugar when ingested. Next, is that you need carbs to burn fat. Thus, you should not be afraid of them just be aware of those that can enhance the fat-burning effect. Also, know that there are good and bad fats; maximize on the earlier to combat the latter. Processed foods are also your enemies for they contain ample sugar. Lastly, stop counting calories. It is useless, especially if you are aware of the first four points.

So there, dig deeper upon the preceding ideas and you will be on into a fun and effective diet.

You may consider exercising. A few runs in the morning, some stretching and curl ups would make a good enough work out. Then again, I bet you will tend to get lazy doing them especially when you started feeling the aches here and there.

Diet pills could also be an option but the problem would be the cost. They can be very expensive and they tend to work best with diet and exercise as well (check the labels, those are written in fine print). Moreover, they can also bring about side effects that could make the situation worse.

Surgery? Do not even think about it unless you have much money to spare. Thus, it all goes back to having a http://fitbits.blog.com/2011/02/08/how-to-eat-and-lose-weight/ that will be right for you. Dieting is not easy but if you are properly motivated, you will develop the proper attitude towards it and soon, you will be doing it naturally.

Weight Loss Diet for Beginners

It is not easy to start a weight loss diet. Sometimes, the first step is all it takes to make the difference. However, not too many people are strong enough to stand that humble move. Just the idea of abstaining from those sinful foods could already change the final decision. Well, who said that losing weight is easy? No one; except for those who have succeeded in doing it.

If others are able to do it, of course you can too! You just have to have the proper motivation and attitude so that you can start out and brave that first step.

For someone who is starting on any diet, the best thing to do is to warm up. Just like in physical activities wherein you have to do some basic movements before advancing to the more complex ones, dieting should be started out the same way. Condition your body first by slowly limiting food intake. First, you may have smaller portions of the foods you usually have for several days and on the following days, make it even smaller and so on. You can also start introducing the foods that you would maximize on your diet such as fruits and vegetables (if you are on that type of diet plan) so that your body will get use to them.

It would also help if you have a timetable for the warm up so that you will know when to really get started with the diet. You will realize that it is not very difficult beginning a weight loss diet after all when you started out gradually because the leap to the actual plan would not be that noticeable anymore. The transition would be so smooth that you will not have time to dread the idea of doing away with the foods you really love.
